PLAN

Successful projects require more than just good ideas. Planning your project from start-to finish is critical to ensuring client satisfaction. We begin each project with an interview process that allows us to develop a custom project plan. Every plan includes a detailed breakdown of the overall program, goals, cost, timeline, and any special considerations necessary to complete the project. Our unique process ensures that we get the details right before construction starts—this helps to ensure that there are no surprises, or budget-busting changes that are all too common in the construction industry.

DESIGN

Good design not only represents the skills of the designers, but represents the needs of the client. The design process should never be a one-way conversation. Our design experts know how to listen to the client and develop unique, responsive designs that consider all variables—beyond just aesthetics. Functionality, cost, maintenance, and durability are all key components to developing a successful design.

BUILD

Craft. Quality. Timeliness. The construction process can be the most challenging process for the client, but it need not be. With proper planning, good design, and efficient communication, the project can be completed with minimal impact to the client. We ensure a smooth building process by closely managing and communicating with everyone on the project team. Our construction technicians are specifically trained to monitor schedule, quality and cost—throughout the entire project. Our goal is to avoid surprises and provide the client with the best product possible.

ABOUT

Client Focus

WaterTower Studio was founded to provide high-quality design, construction services and hand-made products to our clients. No matter the size or type of project, we focus on the specific needs of the client. We believe that the design and construction process should be a collaborative effort, with a focus on client satisfaction.

Design

We focus on traditional materials and unique designs that highlight the aesthetic of the American Mountain West. Our design philosophy highlights the uniqueness, durability, and functionality of materials used in the industrial, mining, and agricultural heritage of Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region. Using modern design concepts with traditional materials allows us to develop a design language that ranges from rustic and industrial chic, to mountain luxe. We frequently include custom designed, hand-made elements in our designs such as fireplace elements, lighting, furniture, and household items.

Materials

Our hand-crafted approach to design includes using only natural materials whenever possible. We specialize in the use of wood, metal, glass, and ceramic materials. In addition to new materials, most of our projects contain elements constructed of reclaimed, repurposed, or recycled materials. Using materials that have reached the end of their life cycle, or may be otherwise be discarded, allows us to create one-of-a-kind pieces that bring life to any design.
